I'm so behind....

I know. You guys probably don't check my blog very much because I am a TOTAL SLACKER. I am aware of this. I really have no excuse.

SO! Here's a little catch-up. In October, we were so lucky. How lucky, you ask? The toilet in our upstairs bathroom decided to surprise us with a leak. Bad toilet. It got sent to the garage.
Then some guys came and made a hole in my ceiling.
And then our luck kept on coming. We had to live with 2 dryer/dehumidifier machines going non-stop in our living room and 1 in our bathroom for 5 days. Oh the joy.
The good news is the insurance covered the loss. The even better news is that David was coming to visit soon, so we waited and did the repair work ourselves. Did I mention that this happened in mid-October and David and Laura were coming just before Thanksgiving? For those doing the math, we had a hole in the ceiling and no toilet in our master bathroon for a month. The hole in the ceiling thing didn't bother me much at all. I hated not have a toilet in my bathroom. I don't recommend it to anyone. On the flip side, we had awesome David to put it all back together. Okay....Jon helped. A lot.

Moving on.

These are the pumpkins we grew in our very first garden.

These are some of the decorations we put on our house.

These are the kids at the Ward Halloween party.

These are the pumpkins all carved up. I did not carve a pumpkin this year. I was kind of sad. But then I wasn't because it always takes me a couple of hours when I carve a pumpkin.

These are my kids all dressed up for Halloween.
These are my kids trick-or-treating. Poor Logan was so sick that he only lasted about 5 houses before he had to go home. So I took Lexi out and I carried Logan's pumpkin for him. I felt a little foolish asking for candy and kept explaining it was for my sick kid. I don't think very many people believed me.
.
This a cute picture of Bremen, Ryan and Logan that I rediscovered recently. Love it.

That's it for now.

Something Special

My kids' big day. It was pretty awesome.
