Christmas in Idaho
If you haven't heard already...my Dad and Laura are making the 1000 mile trip up to Boise, Idaho from their beloved Chandler, Arizona. I thought I would prepare them for what kind of weather to expect. Heaven forbid they aren't prepared to leave their sunny and 70 degree winter weather to the cold and unforgiving frigid north. They aren't as young as they used to be and I don't want the shock to cause any medical emergencies. Here are some pictures of Boise so they can get mentally prepared for such a Christmas as we can provide.

Previously viewed snow pictures
I'm hoping that posting some of the previous years snow pictures will help prompt some new snow this year. So far it has been severely lacking. Obviously global warming is to blame, right. I thought Obama would have solved this problem for us all by now but I guess he's been too busy spending tax payer money. But I digress... what we really need is snow in Idaho. How else will I get to use my season pass to Bogus Basin? How else will Hunter have his first white Christmas? How else will Logan and I be able to attack Patrick with snowballs at Christmas time? What about snow forts in the front yard? A little help here!

Brother and Sister
My sister is a nuisance...
My sister is a pain.
If it were upto me
I'd leave her outside in the rain.
But don't you tease My Sister
or be mean to her at all,
cause I'll stick upfor my baby sis
cause she thinks I'm 10 feet tall.
Despite the "No babies in my room" sign and the newly made "No Lexi in my room sign", Logan still loves her to death.

Our Patriotic Girl
One day, Lexi was playing with the trains and talking to herself. Neither Jon or I had any idea what she was saying. I got my camera to take a video. Here's what she was saying:
I had no idea she knew this. Her daycare provider has started preschool classes and they practice this everyday. A couple weeks later, here she is again:
Isn't she adorable?

Summer is over!
When I lived in Gilbert I had a neighbor who asked me why I didn't plant winter grass. I told him winter was my time off from mowing the lawn. Now I get summer off too...

A Conversation Between Lexi and her Mommy...
...as they're getting ready to go to the store.
Mommy: Are you going to be a good girl at the store?
Lexi: Yeah. I don't want to stay here with Daddy.
Mommy: Do you want to come with Mommy?
Lexi: Yeah.
Mommy: Are you a Mommy's girl?
Lexi: Yeah. I'm a you girl.
