Lexi the non-napper

First off, Lexi went almost 11 hours between feedings last night. How great is that? But, after she woke up this morning, she was up for 7 hours straight with no naps. That's unusual for her. The most she is ever awake is 3-4 hours, usually it's around 2. I guess she was just too excited today or something. This is why...

Yes, she is standing by herself. With the help of the couch, that is. She actually stood for quite some time before falling over. She just thought it was the greatest thing.
In other news, Logan went to the dentist today to get his teethed cleaned for the first time. He did great. His first trip to the dentist, however, was a few weeks ago, because he was complaining that a tooth hurt. Lo and behold, he ended up having a pulpotomy, which is a fancy way of saying he had a mini root canal. Poor kid - his first trip to the dentist and he was there for almost 2 hours! But, he did great for that, too. In fact, the dentist said he did better than most adults do. I tell you, I felt like such a horrible parent, because he also has about 8 cavities. I couldn't believe it. Here's the reasons why his teeth are so bad:
1) he only drinks bottled water, which does not have as much (if any) fluoride as tap water
2) he drinks a ton of juice and a quarter ton of soda
3) Jon and I waited too long to start him brushing his teeth everyday
You can bet we have learned our lesson, or rather, Logan has learned it for us.

Nooooo - she's gotta stay a little baby a lot longer. I'm not done with my "Baby Lexi" fixes! This is crazy - standing already!! Even with support from the couch - it was long enough to be able to take a picture!! (I see you found her present!)
