The Firestation

Back in early October (when David and Laura were visiting) there was an open house at one of the fire stations here. Since Logan has liked fireman related things for a while, we decided to go. They had all kinds of things for kids to do.

There was a little building that kids got to shoot water at with a fire hose.
There was some kind of fire awarness thing (Jon went in with Logan, so I don't know exactly what it was). They taught the kids the correct way of climbing out a window - assuming there is a ladder attached!

The kids also got to sit in the drivers seat of a real, live firetruck! How exciting!

I think this trip helped solidify Logan's choice to be a fireman again for Halloween.

Who liked it more, Jon or Logan?

Wanting to be a fireman is sooo much better and realistic than wanting to be, let's say Batman or Spiderman or ever worse - VENOM! On a side note: HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOGAN!

Thats so cool and fun that you did that with him! He will probly remember that forever! Lucky Logan!
And how funny that your nephew is in Addy's class! Is it your sister or brother or what? How is she doing with new twins?

Just so you know - your playlist has frightened me more than once! Don't know if this happens to everyone, but that Poison song starts with someone taking a deep breath - well, when you're by yourself (especially when it's really dark!) and you hear someone breathe, I about lose control of my functions!
